Syndrome Acupuncture Foundation Course

The Foundation course (two weekends) is for those who want to gain access to acupuncture practice. The course will give you a broad knowledge of basic acupuncture as practised in China, and serves as part of the postgraduate diploma course accredited by the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine & the Chinese Medical and Institute Register (CMIR). Completion of the Foundation Course enables you to practice dry needling techniques.



 

Each module (day) can be taken as part of the diploma course, on its own as a one-off course, or in any combination with any of the rest of the foundation, Intermediate and advanced levels. A certificate of attendance will be issued for those who take one or a combination of modules without taking the full diploma course.

Weekend Two – Chinese Medical Theories I & II

  • Principle Theoretical Foundation of Chinese Medicine I
  • Principle Theoretical Foundation of Chinese Medicine II
  • Principle Pathology & Methodology of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture I
  • Principle Pathology & Methodology of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture II
  • The Four Diagnostic Methods
  • Syndrome Differentiation
  • Application of Syndrome Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine
