Professor Cao Kaiyong

President of International Society of Chinese Andrology

Professor Cao Kaiyong founded the first TCM Andrology specialist clinic in China in Sep. 1987, till now it has developed a large hospital, Tianjin Cao Kaiyong TCM Andrology Hospital. The hospital has the up-to-date diagnostic instruments, setting up a unique system of diagnosis and treatment by experts. And the consultations can be held for the patients from all of world by internet. Over the past decades, hundreds of thousands of male sick patients have been to the hospital for treatment, which are 90% effective with pertinence to treat patients. Over fifteen thousand of men whose sterility was healed procreated their own babies and no one was disability. Over ten thousand families’ dream of having babies came true. And it gets a high effective with healing prostate disease, sexual dysfunction, etc. so as to relieve pain of mind and body, to weld families closed to breakdown together and to promote the families harmony and social stability. Good curative effect won the good public praise for the hospital. Many salvaged patient went to the hospital to express their appreciation and sent a great deal of the letters of thank, banners, etc. Dr. Cao is regarded as “Magic doctor on Andrology” and “oracle in charge of birth”. Professor Cao also treats the foreign patients, including US, Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, etc. Many patients are surprised by his exquisite leechcraft, even many foreigners set up deep friendship with Cao and won good public praise for TCM Andrology at abroad.
From 1991 to 1995, Professor Cao combined clinical practice to investigate and invent over twenty kinds of Chinese Medicines which can cure all kinds of male person's illness such as male sterility, sexual dysfunction, acute and chronic prostatitis and prostate hyperplasia. Thereinto Hui Chun Zhuang Yang Capsule I, Ye Hua Capsule and Xiao Yan Capsule I have passed the city-level scientific research authentication. In 1996, he invented "Gentleman' Health Liquid" which is an especial kind of oral tonic for gentleman. It got the national patent and filled in the domestic blanks. It has been export to tens of countries including US, Korea, United Arab Emirates, Thailand and Japan. It can protect the men’s health and bring great economic benefits for China. “Qian Lie Shu Qing Capsule” which is a new medicine sorted into national three species is doing the third stage clinical trial.
Professor Cao not only works as a doctor, but also studying the theory of TCM industriously. He combined the clinical practice to edit and publish tens of works such as “TCM Andrology”,” A Series of TCM Andrology Science” including ten of works, "the notes by an Andrology doctor", “Eight Links of Prepotency ” and so on. And “TCM Andrology” was the first work of TCM Andrology and was honored as "the foundation Masterpiece of the science of Andrology".
In order to ensure more patients can be cured, He set up three branches of hospital in the city of Beijing, Haerbin and Hongkong in China, in the city of Sharjah in United Arab Emirate and in the city of Bangkok in Thailand. In 2003, TCM was legalization in Thailand and held the open exam. Professor Cao took part in the exam by his amazing willpower. He took the first place and got the medical license of Thailand. He was elected the vice president of Thailand TCM Society, winning honor for China. TCM Andrology got the authorization from Thailand Ministry of Health and has a considerable development.
In Dec. 1990, Xiamen Siming Health Center and Tianjin Cao Kaiyong TCM Andrology Hospital set up a joint clinic of TCM Andrology. From then on, more than sixty areas has set up the joint medical institutions successively, such as in Changjizhou of Xinjiang Province in April 1991, Yangjiang of Guangzhou in 1992 and in July 1993 together with the Affiliated Hospital of Shanxi TCM College to run medical institutions and so on. Professor Cao painstakingly cured the patients and directed the local doctors in all joint clinics of China.
In the aspect of run medical institutions at abroad, he obtained many results: In Aug. 2000, the clinic was set up in Sharjah in United Arab Emirate, in Mar. 1997, the Tianjin TCM Andrology Center was set up in Penang in Malaysia and in Jun. 1976, the cooperative clinic was set up in Kuching in Malaysia.
As for the international exchanges and cooperation, after 1999, the friends from all countries came to negotiate with him on cooperation for many times. They are from Gabon, United Arab Emirate, Sudan, US, Thailand, the Ministry of Health of Denmark, Israel, Georgia, Japan, Korea and so on. The leaders of Thailand Ministry of Health organized the medical delegation to visit and inspect Tianjin Cao Kaiyong TCM Andrology Hospital for three times. He took part in the trade fair at home and abroad to promote the new technique and new medicine of andrology. In Oct. 1994, while selling our products in Singarpore, Vice Chairman of NPC, Wang Guangying came to guide us in person.
In order to improve the level of treating skill and the healing rate, from 1993 till now he has set up eleven sessions classes of studying theory and clinical practice of TCM andrology, which are the national and city-lever continued educational projects and Professor Cao lectured in person. He has brought up more than 1000 students of TCM andrology, who are from tens of countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Korea, US, Germany, Thailand, Brunei. They came to China and study with Professor Cao, so as to improve the doctors’ diagnosis and treating level, bring up more primary doctors, increase the quantity of talents in andrology and give the healing opportunity to the patients in China even all over world. Professor Cao set a fine example to all the students with his medical ethics.
Besides treating the patients, Professor Cao was invited to give the special lectures of andrology knowledge in tens of cities, Beijing, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Guilin, Hongkong and so on. As early as 1988 Dr. Cao gave andrology knowledge lecture every week in “QiaoQiaoHua” Program of Tianjin Rodeos economy station to spread the andrology knowledge and explain the knowledge in two aspects of physical health and mental health, and to help them out of their difficulty.
From 2002 to 2003, Professor Cao gave the lectures in “Way of Health” program of CCTV for over 20 sessions. In 2004 and 2005 he did two live TV programs, the topics are “life style and male sterility” and “New ideas of male health”. After the programs were broadcasted, the reaction was strong, and the consulting calls and the patients are in an endless stream.
Professor Cao organizes the free medical consultation and answers the patients’ questions on 28 Oct. of every year, which is “male health day”.
At the same time, Professor Cao was invited to give special reports and lectures for doctors and common people to spread the andrology knowledge in US, Malaysia, Singapore, Germany, Oman, Thailand, United Arab Emirate and so on for many times. He accepted the interview of overseas broadcasting station and TV station. The lectures were welcome and had strong reaction.
By many years effort, The TCM andrology founded by Cao Kaiyong has been accepted by people, society and nation.
In 1994, the Andrology Branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine Institute science came into being, he was elected Chairman. The academic communication conferences were held in Shanghai, Nanjing, Chengdu, Tianjin and Henan respectively.
In 1995, the Asian-Pacific Region TCM Andrology science came into being, he was elected President. Academic conferences were held in the city of Bangkok in Thailand and the city of Penang in Malaysia and the representatives from tens of countries participate in the conferences.
In 1999, the International TCM Andrology science came into being in Hong Kong, he was elected Chairman. The academic communion conferences were held in Hongkong, Beijing, and the city of Bangkok in Thailand respectively three times. Over 1500 persons took part in the conferences, who are from more than 20 countries including UK, France, US, Israel and so on, and received about 2000 dissertations, which have been edited three collections.
In 2003, he was elected Chairman of Andrology Committee of World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies and organized an academic conference.
In Sep. 2003, Academician Wu Jieping confer him a title of Special Achievement Award of developing the TCM Andrology on the 2nd international academic conference & forum on TCM andrology.
Professor Cao applied himself to the development of andrology and tried his best to be pace-setter in andrology scientific research. He enhanced academic communication in andrology, improved the academic level, made good harmonization and communication, learned each other and made progress tighter, construct a Platform of international and national communication and establish an academic foundation of the andrology development by the academic conferences of International TCM Andrology science, Asian-Pacific Region TCM Andrology science and Andrology Committee of World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies etc.
Cao is kind-hearted, and he treated each patient with great solicitude. Some patients who had financial problem were reduced the medical fee. He also participated in all kind of charitable activity, such as contribute to set up a primary school, contribute aid for 10 orphans, subsidized the poor students to complete their study. He is carrying out the old-world doctors’ morality objective:”Da Yi Jing Cheng”.
Professor Cao studies the essential knowledge from a great deal of TCM works unceasingly. He became the first person of systemic expatiating the pathology and set up the andrology science. He made the andrology become a specialty. He set up the academic institution of andrology and established a foundation for andrology academic research. He set up the Andrology Hospital to form the condition of using the andrology theory into the clinic and to invent new medicine of healing men’s illness. As a doctor, he did his best to spread the andrology knowledge and relieve patients from their pain. As a principal of a private hospital, he can contribute to society, benefit to the family and society. He did his bits in building up harmonious society.
