Integrative Approach to Bird Flu, AIDS, Cancer, Lifestyle Medicine

“WHO is supporting the conference on Integrative Medicine and global co-operation in healthcare at the Royal College of Physicians on 17-18 March 2007”.

The conference attracts delegations from China, Japan, South East Asia, USA, Canada, Australia, Germany, and Austria apart from UK organisations including the Prince of Wales Foundation for Integrated Health. The Deputy Director-General of the WHO will be highlighting the necessity for international collaboration to deal with modern infectious diseases such as Bird Flu, SARS, AIDS at the roundtable debates on the issues.

Experts from all over the world will be presenting their clinical and research papers on the integrative approach in medicine and healthcare. Diseases such as cancer, heart diseases, metabolic syndrome and lifestyle medicine East & West will be discussed.
