Diploma of Chinese Healthcare and Acupuncture for Healthcare Professionals (DCHAc)

The aim of this course is to provide a structured syllabus for those who are engaged in a healthcare profession, to administer acupuncture and Chinese healthcare therapy as a complimentary treatment for their patients. The course assumes training in anatomy and physiology and knowledge of internal medicine. Participants should be a registered and accredited member of their respective professional organisation.

Course Duration
2 years – Foundation, Intermediate, Advanced Modules

Validation Method

A. Course comprehensive assessments and clinical test with patients throughout the course

B. Two days examination with theoretical papers and clinical examinations conducted by the external examination Board of the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine

Accreditation Criteria

On passing the above final examination, the candidate will be registered as an accredited member of the CMIR.
