A superbly organised and truly inspirational trip. I feel honoured to be a part of such a wonderful organisation whose prime aim is to integrate and to bring about the modernisation of Chinese Medicine into the western world. I really enjoyed our visits to the Dongfang hospital. I was really touched by everyone’s generosity there to share their knowledge and expertise with us.

Trip was very good and I enjoyed the trip. Everyone was very good and helpful. I preferred the clinical sessions at the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine hospitals. Some of the treatments are new, e.g. laser therapy to painful areas using a needle. I would have liked more clinical sessions.

A very enjoyable experience and a good mix of lectures and sightseeing. I felt very happy with the standard and organisation of the trip. The food and hotel were excellent.

Very successful trip. The most memorable events are visits to the hospitals & medical university. I wish to have more sessions at hospital, and I’d like to stay two to three weeks at hospital different departments.

Very satisfactory despite the busy schedule. It was well organised. Hotel comfortable and sightseeing was excellent. Prof. Mei’s lecture at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine sticks to mind as it highlighted the efforts made overall for integration of east-west medical benefits.

I had the opportunity to mention the “red cross society’ not having any of the eastern medical treatments, In my opinion it’s very useful in first aid and nursing. Now people like to have herbal treatment as well.

Excellent trip and well organised. I would join again for next medical & health trip in the future.
- Dr F Tacconelli

The trip was well organised with an excellent blend of Chinese culture, recreation and academic teaching. Our experience at the Dongfang Hospital was unique and I am convinced, more than ever, that integrated healthcare is the ‘medicine’ of the future.. The western world is ten years behind China.
