Course Overview

The AcuMedic and CMIR courses are reputed as high quality interactive training programs both in theoretical information as well as clinical practice.

You will learn Syndrome Acupuncture, the mainstream acupuncture as practised in China. This is a much broader and encompassing technique than Western trigger point acupuncture that can be used to treat a wider spectrum of problems. This course is unmatched in expertise and flexibility and is extremely hands on, with patient demonstrations and clinical tuitions.

The aim of this course is to provide a structured syllabus for those who are engaged in a medical and healthcare professions, to administer acupuncture and Chinese healthcare therapy as a complimentary treatment for their patients.



 

There are four accredited course programs expertly organised by the AcuMedic Foundation in conjunction with the top Chinese universities of Chinese Medicine, including Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, Guangxi Medical University and the Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. These are,

1. Syndrome Acupuncture Foundation Course
2. Postgraduate diploma programs
3. BSc, MSc, PhD programs
4. CPD programs
5. Distant learning

The BSc, MSc and PhD programs will also be available soon.

All modules (days) are taught in London and are charged at £180 per module (day), to include: Extensive course notes, needles, patients for case studies, refreshments and lunch. Practical sessions with patients are carried out on each module with professors and doctors from the top university of Chinese Medicine as well as experts from other institutions.

The Medical Trip to China will also give you the first hand knowledge of acupuncture and Chinese medicine as practiced in Chinese hospitals, including observation, tutorial instructions, and clinical practice.
