• Who can join a CMIR course?

To meet the minimum requirements to join a CMIR course, you must be:

• a qualified medical doctor or
• a qualified healthcare professional, with an approved qualification in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology

To join a specialist or CPD course, you must hold an accredited qualification in Chinese medicine and acupuncture. Students who have studied at least one year of an accredited qualification in Chinese medicine and acupuncture are welcome to join any CPD courses and clinical observations so long as they meet the minimum requirements of the course.

We are unable to accept students who have not previously studied a medical subject.
